When 33 miners were trapped in a Chilean mine deep under the earth's surface, I wonder if they felt totally lost and doomed to a slow and painful death. Imagine how they must have been filled with joy when they received a message from above that the rescue team knew exactly where they were and that the process of getting them out had already begun ! They are times in all our lives when we feel like we're stuck in a really bad place. Anxious and alone we despair that we are out of options and that no one understands where we really are in life. Yet in such moments we need to remember God's comforting words to the early Christians who were stuck in a world where Satan's presence dominated all that was around them: "I know.......where you dwell" (Rev. 2:13). Their situation had not escaped the heavenly Father's notice. As they were faithful to Him, He would sustain them until He rescued them and brought them safely home (v.17).
The fact that God knows where you are and that He is very much aware of the difficult situation you are in provides the confidence and strength needed to live for His glory. So be encouraged ! God knows the situation I'm in and provided me with a way out. I definitely should have a misunderstanding with my spouse on that fateful day to be able to settle my credit card debts. I did not overspend on purpose, we were in poverty and I had to patch up things on food and to savour my pleasures and delight. There were hard work and I had to treat myself with my delights. I used my money wisely eventhough I had my heart's desires but only temporary. Now I'm back to normal, no heart's delight but in other terms and values. But not Services. I may never acquire no more. But I thank God for the little little gifts He gave me and time spent and he let me use my credit card, I really praise the Lord. I didn't know I was so good with my accounts. I may be swayed by the sis-in-law's bribery and threat but I managed to solve my own problems, thanks be to God. Now all my problems are solved because of that fateful day that I came home eventhough I lost my husband and my kids to my mother-in-law. I have not given up hope for my children's blessing in future and I have faith in the Lord that my kids will grow up soon. GOD HAD INTENDED ME TO COME HOME AND LEAVE MY HOUSE IN SRI GOMBAK, He had opened a way for me to travel home without barriers because of that conflict. )=
